VICRYL RAPIDE Suture is the fastest-absorbing Ethicon synthetic suture and is ideal for use in superficial soft tissue approximation of the skin and mucosa, where only short-term wound support is required. It is composed of a copolymer made from 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide.

Absorption minimal until approx 14th day.
Essentially complete by 42 days.
