Profluorid Fluoride-containing dental desensitising varnish (5 % NaF)
Profluorid Varnish seals dental tubules following cavity or crown preparation and also aids in the treatment of hypersensitivities.
Profluorid Varnish possesses a fluoride content of 5% NaF (22,600 ppm fluoride).
The fluoride ion, together with the calcium ions accumulated in the tubules, causes precipitation of calcium fluoride, which effectively seals the tubules.
This tooth-coloured fluoride varnish is also recommended for treatment of the dental cervical area after professional cleaning and removal of calculus.
